It's been a while since I shared some of the beautiful architecture that Salt Lake City has to offer. Fortunately I took these pictures in the summer so you can see the homes and landscaping with their best foot forward. Right now everything is covered in melting snow. So here are some more brick homes, which in my opinion is what SLC does best.

The new setup.
Happy New Year to you all. I feel as though the hubby and I have been in hibernation these past couple of months - trapped by sickness after sickness, with some holiday and family celebrations thrown in the mix. Our big Christmas gift this year to ourselves and our home was the addition of a new rug and couch in the living room.
We've been so pleased with both. The rug does not shed, is soft and not itchy, and it is reversible to boot. And the couch.... I can't say enough about how much I have loved that couch this month. It's long enough that you can lay down and still have room to spare, and it's wide enough that both the hubby and I can enjoy it. For those interested, the rug is from West Elm, and the couch is from Restoration Hardware.
